The bi-national U.S.-Canadian military organization responsible for the aerospace and maritime defense of the United States and Canada called NORAD tracks the Santa Clause, Rudolph and all the other reindeers on their way around the world. For this purpose NORAD uses four high-tech systems: radar, satellites, Santa Cams and fighter jets.

The military organization strated tracking Santa Clause more than 50 years ago because of a misprinted the telephone number on a Sears Roebuck & Co. advertisement flyer that asked children to call Santa. Instead of reaching Father Christmas the phone number put the kids through to the CONAD Commander-in-Chief’s operations “hotline”.

You can follow Santas route on Google Earth or watch videos of the most recent location of Father Christmas.
